"Diversität leben - eigentlich ist das für uns alle Alltag. Aber diese Diversität wollen und müssen wir auch im Arbeitsleben noch konsequenter abbilden. Davon profitieren wir, Diversität ist heute Grundvoraussetzung für Erfolg!" Das Statement kommt von Herzen. Sehen Sie selbst!
Dear Readers,
This month we were on the road in Barcelona with Van Ameyde and in the USA with our colleagues from cetecom advanced. Despite the difficult global economic situation, we were able to confidently plan expansion at both locations.
Van Ameyde is also shaping the future entrepreneurially in Cologne, with the establishment of a new Training & Development unit. Participation in Girls' Day is an investment in tomorrow at the earliest possible stage, IB N and cetecom advanced both draw a positive conclusion.
Last but not least, Enoplan kicked off the RWTÜV Group's series of summer parties. With a freshly launched new logo, a new website and after completing the transformation of the range of services AND the renovation of the existing building, it was a carefree celebration!
We wish you motivating and entertaining reading

Experience from the inside opens up different insights. With this in mind, the visit to cetecom advanced colleagues in Milpitas in the USA was a matter close to the hearts of RWTÜV Managing Directors Thomas Biedermann and Fabian Fechner. The last personal exchange had already taken place around one and a half years and a company merger ago. Together with cetecom advanced Managing Director Andreas Ehre, they therefore headed to Silicon Valley at the beginning of May.
There was plenty to talk about: the inspiring visits to neighbors Apple and Google, together with the market situation in the USA, formed the information background. The main topic was strategic considerations for the development of new services. However, the German visitors also took the general town hall meeting with all American colleagues particularly seriously in order to gauge the mood among employees.
The successful business trip was rounded off with a dinner with the management. "The atmosphere was very collegial and positive. Together with the US team, we expect our business to develop well," says Fabian Fechner, summarizing his impressions.
A stopover in Barcelona was on the agenda on the way to the USA. Together with the CEO of Van Ameyde International, Piet Middelkoop, Thomas Biedermann and Fabian Fechner visited Frank Verschuur, Head of the Southern Europe region. This region is to be expanded, so in addition to the current business development, strategic components of this planned expansion were the focus of the exchange. The shared service center approach for the entire region was also discussed. Barcelona, with its flair, culture and quality of life, acts as a magnet for well-trained and multilingual employees with potential and therefore has a real locational advantage.
Van Ameyde is also strengthening its expertise in Germany. Since February 1, 2024, Jennifer Krumbein has been building up the Training & Development department at the Cologne location. Together with the other project managers at the branch, the training and development specialist designs education modules for a wide range of areas and levels at the international service provider for the insurance industry.
The existing work processes and quality standards are defined together with the specialist departments. In the resulting learning management system with targeted training courses and workshops, the development of decision-making skills and the training of communication and social skills play an important role alongside specialist skills. Thomas Biedermann comments on the development of the department: "For the RWTÜV Group as a service provider, good and targeted training is essential. We are supporting Van Ameyde in this task to the best of our ability."
The RWTÜV subsidiaries IB N and cetecom advanced used this year's nationwide Girls' Day to give potential young talent an exciting insight into their companies.
Four interested girls between the ages of 12 and 15 visited the Nordhorn engineering office in Münster on April 25, 2024, and after an office tour, learned interesting facts about the apprenticeships "Technical system planner for supply and equipment technology or electrotechnical systems", as well as about the course "Building Services Engineering". They were also given an insight into the day-to-day work of a technical building services engineering office. The girls were able to clarify their questions over lunch with the whole team from Münster. There was a lot of positive response in the feedback session at the end, before the students were given a small gift to say goodbye. "Maybe we'll see one or two of them again at the end of their school career? We would be delighted if we have sparked interest in our exciting professions with this day," says Anna Brandt, who organized Girls' Day for IBN, summing up.
At cetecom advanced, twelve girls got a taste of the world of testing and certification. In the laboratory in Essen, EMC tests were carried out together on specially assembled electronics kits, while in Saarbrücken the topic of biometrics with fingerprint and face recognition was on the timetable. "We were absolutely thrilled by the girls' thirst for knowledge and their enthusiasm. We will definitely be repeating this next year to get more women interested in the world of technology in our professions!" says Marius Winzler, Head of Global Marketing at cetecom advanced.
Bright sunshine leading into a picture-book sunset provided the perfect backdrop for the Enoplan event on Thursday, May 16. The Summer Town Hall meeting for the entire workforce as a prelude to a joint summer party was perfectly complemented by a guided tour of the vineyard, a presentation on the job description of a winemaker and a subsequent wine tasting. The event was hosted by the Klenert winery in Kraichtal, which has been Ecovin organic-certified since 2019 and is dedicated to organic farming and regenerative agriculture.
At the joint meeting, the colleagues from Enoplan took stock of the last few months, planned the coming months and then celebrated the completion of the extensive change process that has been pursued with great commitment and success in recent weeks and months. Fabian Fechner and Thomas Biedermann were also guests. "Enoplan has done its homework thoroughly in the radically changing energy market. Together, we are very optimistic and motivated about the future!" both congratulated Enoplan Managing Director Ralf Schade and his staff.
