Marked by TÜV!

Since they were founded 150 years ago, the technical inspection agencies and their engineers have helped shape the economic and social life of our country by providing testing and safety support for developments and inventions in all areas of application.

Since when vehicle owners have had to take a driving test, what the Medical-Psychological Institute's tasks are and where within the RWTÜV group of companies these services are classified today, you can find out in the current newsletter.

The TÜV as a driving force and co-shaper of German economic history

Economic development in Germany is characterized by enormous innovative power. The technical monitoring associations and their engineers were in the direct slipstream of every new development: even if they were not inventors in the true sense of the word, they were indispensable for making these inventions suitable for widespread, safe and also economically efficient use.

Our topic of the day: applied mathematics!

On the day when the circle number π is celebrated all over the world, let's join in the praise of applied mathematics! Hooray for pi!

As a company active in telecommunications, energy & environment, and insurance services, and driving digitalization in all areas, we or our
subsidiaries are always on the lookout for math cracks and capable IT specialists, electrical engineers, architects and other experts with an affinity for math or science.

CTC advanced – the specialist for standards and safety in new technologies

Even though the RWTÜV Group as a whole is no longer focused on the classic TÜV business, some companies in the Group are still market leaders in the certification field! CTC advanced, based in Saarbrücken/Germany, tests and certifies electronic products with or without telecommunication interfaces according to the requirements of the respective national approval regulations – in Europe, on both American continents, in Africa and in the Asia-Pacific region.

A standard for management systems

Globalisation brought the need for international safety and quality standards. The testing, inspection and certification sector was in great demand – and so too were the TÜV associations. Their response was to offer testing according to so-called quality assurance (QA) standards – later adopted by the International Organization for Standardization and published as ISO standards – along with independent certification bodies. For RWTÜV, this was a springboard to success.

Mail from our creative colleagues in Korea!

At the end of last week we received the anniversary case back from Korea. We are thrilled by the warm greetings, the creative "handicraft work“ ? with our portraits and the funny little Korean figurines!

This is exactly how we had imagined the exchange within the branches of the company and it’s subsidiaries to get to know each other better.

Thank you dear colleagues!

Soon the suitcase will be refilled and send off on its way to ….. Japan!
